Multiple Temporary Relocation Projects

Most of the tenants impacted by these projects were complex placements due to very low income resources and disabilities. CPSI developed a comprehensive program to address and combat these issues and assisted each tenant with temporary relocation. As a result, 100% of the assignments were completed on time and within budget.

CPSI provided the SDHC with temporary tenant relocation services for two projects: 13 units on Hornblend Street and Muir Avenue and 16 units on Santa Margarita Street. For both projects, we provided a cost-effective management approach, conducted multiple community outreach meetings, interviewed tenants, completed cost projections and developed a comprehensive relocation plan.

Hornblend Street and Muir Avenue: This one-phase project requires the temporary, 28-day relocation of 13 units for the purpose of rehabilitation.

Santa Margarita Street: This project, which will be completed in four phases, requires the temporary relocation of 16 tenants, four households per phase. The tenants will be relocated to a hotel for a total of six days so stairwork can be completed on the exterior of the residences.
